⑨ Ella Jo SkinnerBlack on Black, 2022 video installation, latex, live performance video duration: 10min performance on the 29th of June at 18:15,19:15, 20:15, 21:15, 22:15 and 23:15 performers: Ella Jo Skinner and Lux Saber performance duration: 15-20min Artist Ella Jo Skinner’s latex “boxes” reimagine architecture as flesh, reflecting an inner physical experience onto an outer, concrete reality. Skinner traps performers within these “boxes” whose movements stretch and distort them, revealing the fragility and temporality of the mentalities, environments and identities in which we are trapped and trap ourselves. This installation is an extension of the audio-visual project “Black on Black” with British rapper Algernon Cornelius. “Black On Black is the evasion of reification. In the act of naming and identifying, one is always at risk of becoming a commodity. To understand that we are never in a solid state, forever in flux. And that being is conditioned on a set of relations at any given time. There is the fear that when a name is uttered The weight of history comes crushing down all at once with it And engulfs us, freezes us, packages us Black On Black is riding that fear In the space between knowing Always becoming and going At the speed of a black hole Declassified There are those that name but do not see And there are those who see me And know they do not have to say shit They just see The Black On Black” Film & sculpture: Ella Jo Skinner Audio: Algernon Cornelius

⑧ Dorota Gawęda and Eglė KulbokaitėMouthless Part III, 2023 Two-channel video, 29:00 each. Through a hole under the armpit the second soul leaves the body. It rolls through the landscape a transparent sphere of light. Interstitial bodies, souls and spirits occupy liminal, contaminated, edge-of-world zones: swamps, soils, spills. The simulated landscapes writhe and morph into each other, convulsing in a sticky and hallucinogenic way particular to GAN aesthetics, as if following Haraway’s or Barad’s ideas of entanglement – both the multispecies and quantum variety. Rather than manifesting in a particular depiction, settling into taxonomy - any singular simulated tree branch, rolling hill, or apocalyptic sky; this understanding bubbles up through the flight pattern of images and stories alike. It’s folded into the feeling of a constant state of flux, a weird, mutating ecology on the cusp of classification. Frequently one becomes the other; it is difficult to tell where the monster ends and the human begins.. The narrative unfolds across two channels as a conversation between two characters - an archetypal Eastern European peasant and a landscape demon; dispersed in time and in the simulated settings of the countryside - morphing into something else, someone else, somewhere else. These characters are complicated and contradictory; their ethics opaque, identities nebulous. Their bodies prove to be porous and a soul can not only leave but also enter another human, plant or animal, settle in their hair, ear, intestine or blossom. This possibility of relating to the surrounding world as described by Slavic and Baltic fables, is like the threat and promise of ongoing mutation of always becoming the other. Countryside inhabited more by the machines (data centres, distribution warehouses) rather than humans, is currently the site of the ‘new sublime’. A data centre hosts synthetic landscapes our culture has produced; algorithms dream up the simulacrum of the simulacrum of the countryside in the countryside haunted by its own preconceptions. The video treads a similar tense in between ground - amid nature and its artifice; between technology and magic. A non-linear, complicated story emerges in a collective creative process mediated through belief systems created by communities temporally dispersed. ① KeikenWisdoms for Love 3.0 (Trimester 2), 2021 Game (colour, sound), interactive fibre glass sculpture with led lights, water fountains, ipad controller, server, video assets Wisdoms for Love 3.0 is a decision making game + nft project inside an installation with an interactive sculpture. The game explores the bubbled-up feelings, collective consciousness and fervent beliefs of the contemporary moment, where the desire for change and a more equal, decentralised future is collectively being challenged. The game is rooted in decision-making where you must decide your fate, do you take the path of the Divine Mother, become a Human God or stay on your Moral High Horse? Players must work their way through a labyrinth of metaphorical decisions. The decision making points are punctuated by cut-scenes filled with symbolic imagery and sounds, an instant reveal of the path the player finds themselves on. As the player progresses through the game they collect ‘wisdom tokens’, digital artworks of the objects inside the game. Wisdoms for Love 3.0 features live chat and multiplayer game functions enabling players to view a map which details the different potential pathways and details the locations of other online players. It also features an unlockable bonus level. ‘Wisdom Tokens’ are free artworks that can be downloaded at the end of a players gameplay session. Players will receive a zip file with their assigned username that contains their collected ‘wisdom tokens’, an animatic and still poster of all available wisdom tokens and a moral contract. The moral contract binds the user in a moral exchange with the artists rather than a financial one. ‘Wisdom tokens’ are also available as NFTs. Wisdoms for Love 3.0 explores and maps out different feelings and beliefs in the contemporary consciousness. It considers ‘wisdom’ as a tool for growth and change and proposes it as a form of currency to transact with that could be applied to the blockchain and integrated into future Web 3.0 technologies, creating alternative definitions of wealth for the ‘life’ game. It also explores new ways to gamify art amongst the rise of blockchain technology. Made in collaboration with Obso1337, Ryan Vautier, Sakeema Crook, waveovspace, Rob Malone, Malik Paris, Suzannah Pettigrew and Wade Wallerstein

⑫ Darren Emerson | "In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats" VRA virtual reality experience set in the West Midlands in 1989, this creative non-fiction experience takes the audience on a journey as they search for an illegal Acid House warehouse party somewhere in Coventry, UK. To find the party and dance, the audience must interact with objects and travel through different spaces to recreate moments that bring back memories from that time. In summary, this is a multi-sensory VR installation that uses set design, ambisonic sound, projections, room-scale tracking, animation, 360 video and archives from raves.

⑦ Studio MistiAngeion, 2023 Video - looped, Installation - Acrylic, Steel - found object, Fabric, Silk Ribbon, Clay. For Audra, Misti have created an installation titled ‘angeion’ , bringing through dripping forms from Queer ecologies, seeping more-than-human-love and fluid theories to transform and blur the sharp edges of the steel factory Pergalė. The form of the entities present in the projections and sculptures are based on mixtures of floral morphology, using a database to research flowering plants common in the Baltic such as Viola Odorata (Kvapioji našlaitė). Whilst the expressions and interactions therein echo mating rituals of Limax Maximus (Didysis šlužas) and Sea Slugs (Jūros šlužas in specific genus; Gastropteridae). Whilst mapping the installation for the factory Misti were thinking-with care, wishing to enhance the space with elements of softness; as a haven for all the melting beings undergoing different degrees of transformation. From cascading fabric flowing through the hard steel structures, ribbons entwining with chains and beds where the visitors could rest and observe the flowing forms encircling them. Where the Installation for the Lizdas gallery holds the same interests as above but is presented as gleaming particles/ archives of the factory experience, connecting both of the spaces together through a portal.

The Belgian lace technique weaves the elements of this coat into an inlay of unattainable aristocracy and grandeur. The only way to get out of the shell of envy is to admit to yourself that you are trapped in it. Story B, 2022 Network of strung beads (glass) The net as an ephemeral character, dividing space into pixels and fragmenting experiences, creating a different perception of reality. ⑩ Églantine Laprie-SentenacWhat I see through (2023) gallery’s vitrines, humidifiers What I see through is an in-site installation presented at the Žilinskas gallery during the Audra Festival. Two original museum showcases are filled with condensation creating an opaque film on the glass. Responding to the nightlife context of the festival and to this transitional exhibition venue, What I see through is reflecting on the sweat expelled by living bodies, inner activities and the temporary emptiness of the space. The analogy with the eye, the optical device and the window display is pointing out the surface through which you see, you contemplate, you desire. @ Églantine Laprie-Sentenac 2023

⑥ Will KraulandIncom, 2022-2023 Laser print on transparent sticker mounted to window My HP Envy 3500 is a consumer grade printer and scanner. I didn’t pay for it, it was given to me by an ex, and for all intents and purposes it works very well. It can operate over wifi or with a USB cord, print and scan up to an A4 sized piece of paper, and for some reason it has not broken down over ten years of use. The printing function is useful, but I am much more interested in the scanner. It scans linearly from right to left, the user can choose between color or black and white, the size, and its resolution, which also determines the speed of the scanner. Its sensor’s depth of field is pretty shallow and will blur things that are ever a couple centimeters away from the glass. It works so well with solid materials, so I wanted to see how it would handle something less ordered. Recently, I detached the scanning hood from the printer, allowing me to maneuver the scanner in previously impossible ways, so I inverted the scanner over a black plastic tray filled with water. As I pressed “scan” on my computer with my left hand, I used my right hand to agitate the water, creating a series of waves. The scanner moves (from right to left) over the waves (moving in every direction), and the light reflects off of the peaks of the waves, creating a fractured image of the chaotic motion of the water.

⑬ Tomoko SauvageFischgeist was recorded in a former water tank in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg in August 2019. The nineteenth-century brick building consists of five layered circles, with a spiral staircase in the middle leading up to an exit to a hilltop. Inside, it's humid and cold, the temperature always around 8–10 ℃. The building’s acoustics produce a long reverberation that lasts up to 20 seconds. In conversation with the space of the water tank, Tomoko Sauvage searches beyond the limits of her self-invented ‘natural synthesizers’: porcelain and glass bowls, filled with water and amplified with hydrophones. Composed, performed and mixed by Tomoko Sauvage Recorded and produced by bohemian drips prior to Speicher festival, Berlin, August 2019 | Binaural recording with a KU 100 dummy head microphone Mastered by Andreas Kauffelt in Berlin

⑤ Morta JonynaitėSquare Root, 2022 Belgian lace technique, sewing, metal construction (cotton, construction screen, tulle) A jealousy provoked by sound, word, image, which embraces the body and imprisons it in an unpleasant state. The Rooms of Life and Death, 2021 Hand knotted nets, crochet (cotton, mohair) Germinating, creating, disrupting, hacking, killing mushrooms use invisible nets to form spaces that both support existence and destroy other life forms.
