Contemporary City
Festival Audra

Audra / The Storm is approaching. The most important festival of the "Kaunas - European Capital of Culture 2022" program. A contemporary city is more than just beautiful streets or modern buildings. It's not just about glass or concrete. A city needs a vibrant, always buzzing and youthful culture. Sometimes delicate and subtle, sometimes wild and noisy.

The five-day AUDRA festival is all this and more. The streets of Kaunas will be filled with cultural initiatives and performances, long-forgotten spaces will get a second wind and become venues for concerts. And when the night falls, Kaunas will be stormed for two nights by the biggest electronic music programme this year in Lithuania.

The contemporary city festival Audra / The Storm, which will take place on June 29-July 3, together with "Kaunas - European Capital of Culture 2022", is being organized by the international association of artists "Freimas" (night club Lizdas) and the youth organization Public Institution "Emerging Kaunas". Pažaislis Music Festival, Kaunas City Chamber Theater, dance studio GAMERS and various partners from Greece, Serbia, France, Germany, Estonia, Finland and other European countries contribute to the festival events.
